Description: "What We Can Learn from Norway, New York and Afar" is the second presentation in the 2012- 2013 series, Sustainable Development: International Perspectives on Policy and Practice, exploring multidisciplinary approaches to planning and design. The presentations will focus on the new and challenging design perspectives, processes, and models of practice. In this deep exploration of questions now facing practicing architects, we will also talk about what has been done, is it viable, is it replicable, does it work or not, what more can we do, how, why, what's missing?
